Recently, few of companies came out  Right Issue, one of the frequently ask question is , how to update the Right Issue price in Porfolios? Well, to update the Right Issue price is very simple. On the listing day, just go inside the Portfolio, select the small DETAILS  button. After click on the DETAILS button, system will show another screen. Just select the row with Right Issue units, click on it, then select  EDIT button. (the small button at the bottom left screen) Once click on EDIT button, another small window will appear. Find the field Match Price, input the Right Issue purchase price on it, then select Submit.  Finally, go to Porfolio again to check it, you will notice the price updated and everything is done!

Not long ago, received few calls from clients, inquiry about Public Bank stock price, their question was, why stock price suddenly drop a lot that day?   Actually, the stock price adjusted due to bonus issue, but many don't know how to calculate it. Take Public Bank as example, the announcement say the bonus issue 4:1, what the meaning? The meaning of ratio is "New Unit: Existing Unit", in other word, every one unit, they will give you 4 new units. Since the final unit increase from 1 to 5 units, so, on Ex Date, the stock price will need to divide 5. When one compare stock price one day before Ex date, it will look as if the stock price went down a lot, but actually not, because for those entitle, the stock units also increase by 5 time. Let see another example for SCIB, where it give free warrant at the ratio of 1 warrant for every 2 units, let see how to calculate the stock price on Ex date... Assume warrant exercise price is RM1.77 and the stock price close at RM2.67 b...

Boring about your current internet browser? Let me share one internet browser which can improve productivity with a lot cool features. For the past few months, I tried and tested a few Internet browsers, from Edge, Explorer, Firefox, Brave and finally I found one very cool browser, VIVALDI . For years, Google Chrome has been my only internet browser. The  problem is, Chrome track on every activities and slow down the internet speed (estimate lost of 5 minute every hour) Vivaldi does not trace on user’s activities, plus new cool features, below are examples: A: Content Blocker , just a click to switch on and off block trackers and ads. This will indirectly increase the speed of the browser. B: Side panel bar , you cannot find this on other browsers.   If you come across to invest in foreign stock exchange, one of the important things to take note is foreign exchange. Let's assume you want to buy a HK stock, at time to key in purchase order, look for the field call Settlement Currency ( Sett. Curr ), usually the system will default the local currency for that stock Exchange..(HK market is HKD, US market is USD) If you have HKD in your trading a/c, default as HKD for Settlement Currency is fine. However, if you only have MYR in your trading a/c, then I strongly advise to change the Settlement Currency to MYR so that the system will capture the day’s exchange rate, which is cheaper compared to the Bank's counter exchange rate. What will happen if you don’t change the Settlement Currency to MYR when key in purchase order?  When your purchase order matches and comes to payment due date, the system will look for HKD. Since you don’t have HKD in trading a/c, txn can not be settled and the team will need to manually convert MYR ...
